Doha is the principal location associated with contemporary Jewish life in Qatar. U.S. government reporting in 2006 documented a small number of Jewish expatriates living in the country. Qatar later became represented in the Association of Gulf Jewish Communities, which supports Jewish residents and visitors throughout the Gulf.

Qatar expanded its International Conference on Religious Dialogue in 2005 to include Jewish representatives alongside Muslim and Christian participants. Rabbis from the United States attended the Doha conference as full participants, marking an important instance of publicly recognized Jewish religious participation in Qatar.
United States government reporting documented a small number of Jewish expatriates living in Qatar in 2006. The report stated that Qatar had no indigenous Jewish community and that the Jewish residents were expatriates who could travel and work in the country.
Jewish residents and representatives from Qatar joined counterparts from Bahrain Kuwait Oman Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in the Association of Gulf Jewish Communities, a regional organization created to support Jewish religious and communal life across the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
Jewish visitors travelled to Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup and arrangements were made to support kosher food requirements. The Qatari government made Qatar Airways facilities available for the preparation of more than 600 kosher meals per day during the tournament.
